We have a problem here

Codi LOVES to sleep on his stomach. This is a huge problem. He actually sleeps for over an hour this way. The problem though is that babies aren’t allowed to sleep on their bellies. Fuck fuck fuck. All I keep thinking is he’s going to die from sids or something and it will be all my fault because I let him sleep on his belly to relive the insane gas bubbles. Uggg I hate to wake a sleeping baby, what exactly do I do?

  1. I say, Let him sleep! During the day when I was awake and such, Landon slept on his belly. At night when I was asleep as well and wouldn\’t be able to hear him breathe, he slept on his back. When he was old enough to flip over onto his belly, and I I couldn\’t keep turning him over, I figured he\’d be fine.

  2. when i was a wee teenager, like 15 or so, i was babysitting an infant and put him down to sleep… then like 10 mins later had a panic attack because i\’d heard you weren\’t supposed to let babies sleep on their stomachs, omg i was going to kill the baby AAAAHHH so i ran back into the room and flipped the sleeping baby on his back, which of course made him wail… and he wouldn\’t stop until i put him back on his stomach. i had to call my mom hyperventilating because i didn\’t know what to do. he was fine, obviously, and had a delightful nap on his belly. me: not so fine.

  3. I was going to say what Christy said. I use to lay Ella on her side because she hated sleeping on her back too. I had this wedge thing that I could prop behind her to keep he sort of on her side, it worked. Although I still checked on her constantly.

  5. Tyler was a tummy sleeper and he survived. Don\’t stress Codi will not die of SIDS. My mom said that all 4 of us kids were tummy sleepers and we all some how lived too.
