Last night while I was peacfully relaxing in the bath my husband decides to tell me he isn’t sure that Codi’s name should be Codi.
WHAT THE FUCK
I jolted up and said, boy have you got one hell of a fight coming. Because this kids name is Codi. You know what he thinks Codi’s name is???
Hmmm do ya?
Aiden.
Huh. That fruit cake from Sex in the City, Aiden, what. Ummm no.
Thats it, the only name he can come up with to replace Codi is Aiden. Uh huh, NO. His rational is that Aiden means little fire or some bullshit and since CODI has been kicking me so hard it literally makes me want to cry lately he thinks the name sounds fitting.
So for arguments sake, what do you all think. Should Codi’s name be CODI or should it be Aiden 😦

Personally, I LOVE the name Aiden – but you obviously LOVE Codi. Name your baby Codi!

Hmmm…Aiden seems to be a trend among my friends right now, but I still like it. I think they\’re very different names. Aiden reminds me of serious piano player that stands for a great cause.Codi is a messy koolaid moustache kid with a scrapper\’s heart.I like \’em both.

We almost named Jayden..Aiden..but then we saw the ring..the creepy kid is aiden. I love the name..but theres another arugment you could use against it!

No Aiden. There are too many Aidens out there. It\’s a super popular name these days. Codi is much more original. CODI! NOT AIDEN! NO ROB NO!

How about Keegan? It means \”little fiery one,\” it sounds great with Brandon, and it has the ck starting sound like Codi.This is all just to milk the baby name discussion, you realize–I\’m not seriously suggesting you change the name at this point. I am smarter than your husband on THAT score.

Good Lord there are WAY TOO MANY Aidens out there in the world!!!! I like Codi. Stick with the name you already have given him, it fits WAY better!

since you have to carry him, give birth and then care for him most of the time, i think you should get to chose! as a reward for the hard work. and btw= aiden is wayyyyy to common now a days.
